After a night in the gold rush town of dawson city, we tried our luck panning for gold …

… but never made it beyond the trying phase ? followed by a quick stop at what looks like a house but was actually a floating drentch during the good old days.

Then we crossed the yukon on the ferry before getting on our way to the top of the world.
A magnificant part of our trip and the most impressive overnight spot so far …

… and dining room views are unbeatable!

And later that evening we believe to have witnessed a volcanic event …

… while it might look like a big cloud, it clearly came from the ground and might have come from Fort Selkirk volcano, which is active since feb this year.
