After a long day of driving, mainly in miserable, rainy weather, and a quick stop at North Pole (no kidding) …

… we arrived in a wet and cold Fairbanks where we will stay until tomorrow, do a bit of city seeing, not sure if there are that many “sights” in the common sense of the word here.

Then we will spend a relaxing afternoon/evening at Chena Hot Springs in preparation for our Denali Adventure, where the weather forecast has night temps of around “just  above freezing” *brrrrrr* and day-“highs” of below 15°C … YESSSSS … that is Alaska !
