So today was backcountry day. 530am morning call to catch the 700am backcountry shuttle for what turned out to be a 4 hr ride to the back country.
We learned that there are six things to see in denali to catch a “grandslam”:
- Denali (not hidden in the cloouds) – ✔️✔️
- Dall Sheeps – ✔️
- Moose – ✔️✔️✔️
- Cariboos – ✔️✔️
- Wolves – ✔️✔️
- Bears – ✔️✔️✔️✔️

Tomorrow we are waving Denali goodbye and make our way to the Kenai peninsula, the last stop of our trip ?
