… it is time to leave the old world behind us and embark on a new adventure. This time the destination is the “last frontier”, Alaska.

Our plans are, no doubt, ambitious. So ambitious that even Google Maps decided to bail out (hence the small gap in our route, wich is not really a gap, but the “Top of the World Highway“, which Google apparently considers not a viable connection 😉

But since we are self-sufficient and flexible on our journey, we will be able to adjust our route, based on actual progress.

For sure “summer” will be starting differently for us this year. Alaska is not know for it’s hot summer nights, after all … very much for the contrary, actually.
